Very nice Core-quality Water Pump for the Cad 429 of the era, removed from a low-mileage 1965 Fleetwood 75 8-passenger Sedan with Dual Air etc, which i've heard is different than other 429 Pumps of the era due to its Hose connection orientations? (I'm no expert on this so please do your research if necessary!) Once i removed this Pump and saw its hefty cast-iron Impeller, i realized it's possibly too special to toss. (Replacement options have a cheaper formed sheet-metal Impeller now.)
Obviously i replaced this since its Front Seal failed (wasn't making any noise but was leaking badly ONLY from the Front Seal) so this will definitely need a rebuild before reuse. But if the part number's right for you, it's an EXCELLENT candidate for that! May also fit other Cadillacs, 62 63 64 65 for example. This fits nicely into a USPS Medium Flat-Rate Box so that's how it'll come to you and that's the actual cost you'll pay since i never include 'Handling Fees'... |
