Product Description

NOS genuine GM inner valve springs, part number 9779006. These were not used on H.O. or Ram Air cars, with a couple exceptions which are noted below.

These fit:

  • 1964 - 1968 Pontiac Tempest, LeMans and GTO with 326, 350, 389 and 400, but not with Ram Air
  • 1965 - 1968 Pontiac Catalina, Grand Prix, Star Chief, Executive and Bonneville with V8
  • 1966 Pontiac Tempest and Lemans with 6cyl OHC with 4bbl carb
  • 1967 - 1969 Pontiac Firebird and Sprint with 6cyl OHC 4bbl, 326, 350 and 400
  • 1969 Pontiac Firebird with Hydramatic and Ram Air with YW engine
  • 1969 Pontiac Tempest, LeMans, GTO, Catalina, Executive, Bonneville and Grand Prix with 400
  • 1970 - 1975 Pontiac LeMans, GTO, Grand LeMans, Grand Am, Catalina, Grandville, Executive, Bonneville, Firebird, TransAm and Grand Prix with V8 engine
  • 1976 - 1979 Pontiac, all models with 350P, 400 and 403 V8 engines

    • Brand new, still in original GM box.

    Shipping - Payment

    A few words to make things easier.

    1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising BEFORE you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.  AND, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.

    2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.

Honda is set to announce that its Formula 1 Team is to be put up for sale with immediate effect, and if no buyer materialises then it intends pulling out of the new Formula 1 season due to start in March 2009.

    Pininfarina reveals New Stratos

    Pininfarina has revealed a one-off supercar called the New Stratos for German collector Michael Stoscheck. The car has a 4.3-liter V8 and is meant to channel the spirit of the legendary Lancia Stratos rally car of the 1970s. It was shown on Monday on the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet.

    McLaren P1: Geneva Motor Show

    The new McLaren P1 has been revealed publicly for the first time at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show where it goes up against LaFerrari. In contrast, McLaren has been busy trailing the P1 for months and had revealed all we really wanted to know ahead of today at Geneva. That garnered more column inches for the McLaren than the Ferrari in the run-up to Geneva but it’s meant that the actual public reveal of the McLaren P1 has been totally overshadowed today by the reveal of LaFerrari.
