DESCRIPTION: THIS 2-PIECE DRIVESHAFT, WITH THE CARRIER BEARING (shown in the 2nd & 4th photos) IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. IT WAS COMPLETELY SERVICED (a year or two before I parted the car out). APPARENTLY, THIS ONLY FITS THE 1964 CADDYs WITH THE TURBO-HYDROMATIC TRANSMISSION (IT WAS FROM A COUPE DE VILLE). THIS WILL FIT IN SEDAN DE VILLES AND ELDORADOS. IT WILL NOT FIT IN FLEETWOOD 75 MODELS (which are much longer). PLEASE BE SURE THAT THIS IS THE CORRECT DRIVE SHAFT FOR YOUR CADILLAC. I CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMEONE BUYING THE WRONG PART. IN THE HOLLANDER 32nd Ed. PARTS INTERCHANGE, THEY LIST A HYDRA-MATIC TRANS FOR '64 AS A POSSIBLE OPTION. IT MIGHT MEAN THAT THE HYDRAMATIC WAS USED FOR THE EARLY PART OF THE YEAR, AND WAS REPLACED WITH THE TURBO-HYDRAMATIC SOMETIME DURING THE MODEL YEAR.
