OEM 1966 GTO PONTIAC TRIM RING FOR RALLY I WHEELS.
This auction is for one used stainless steel trim ring. It has several small marks and of course a minor dent. The external OEM clips all look good. It has been in storage for years. If I wasn't moving I'd never have found it. It's for the 14" RALLY I wheels and measures 15.25 in diameter, and 2" thick. It's polished on the front face, brushed finish on the inside. NHTSA investigates GM cars for possible brake light problems
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Federal safety regulators are looking at three General Motors vehicles for potential brake light defects that could result in a recall of more than a million midsize vehicles. A Automotive News they were investigating an estimated 550,000 Pontiac G6s because of possible brake light malfunctions that could increase the chances of an accident. NHTSA said it had received 212 consumer complaints concerning brake light problems on 2005-09 modelG6s.

Mon, 02 Nov 2009Mercedes-Benz USA launched the AMG Challenge in 2002, a program touted as "a chance to experience the thrill of driving the newest Mercedes AMGs on some of America's best racetracks." This year, MBUSA abandoned the Challenge in favor of the AMG Driving Academy, a multistage driver-development program pioneered by AMG in Europe. The difference? According to Greg Clark, AMG manager, "the Challenge was more about the cars, while the Academy is more about the driver." Having participated in both the Challenge and now the Academy, we'd say that difference is subtle, at least as it applies to the one-day program.
