Up for sale is an NOS Ford Galaxie Front Fender mounted antenna. Ford part#C6AZ-18813-A. This is what I believe to be a 1966 part...but it will probably fit other years. Please check your application and fitment. The kit is NOS and all is in nice condition. The kit is missing the installation instructions and the chrome antenna base bezel. We have been in possession of this antenna since the early 1980’s and it has been kept indoors the entire time. Please check my other auctions…for other 1965 Ford Galaxie parts. IMPORTANT ... Show Review: Tokyo Concours D’Elegance
Wed, 28 Nov 2007Tokyo has hosted the first of what it hopes will become the Japanese equivalent of America's Pebble Beach and Italy's Villa D'Este. Held at the plush Tokyo Midtown shopping mall/commercial complex, the Tokyo Concours D'Elegance was initiated by enthusiast Paul Goldsmith and coincided with the first public days of the Tokyo Motor Show - though regrettably also with a typhoon, forcing organisers to cover the cars on the lawns, which were ultimately closed due to flooding. Fortunately, the exhibition had been split between in- and outdoors, and while the weather lashed out at those braving the winds, there were still some interesting displays for those wishing to remain dry.

But the silly mpg VW quoted for the XL1 – 313mpg – comes at a fairly horrible price, with the news at Geneva this year that the XL1 is heading for limited production, but with a price tag likely to be around £100k. Bit it seems that VW has found a new use for the XL1, and this time it’s not about extreme economy but more about real performance.
