This auction is for a Twin Paxton Supercharger kit for a Ford 289 or 302 in a 1965-1966 Mustang without power steering. This kit is patterned after the original 427 Cobra Twin Paxton set-up that Shelby made in 1965. There are two different Twin set ups available: one using two 4 bbl. Holley carbs with bonnets on an inline 2x4 intake ( not included) or a 2-Stage using a single 4 bbl. Holley in a "Cobra "carb enclosure box for a 2-Stage (first blower blows pressure into second blower for boost step up). See picture.
There are many options and configurations so please contact Craig Conley for additional information.

This kit comes with:
• 2 SN60 Paxton Superchargers painted Ford blue with "Cobra Supercharged" or white with 67-68 style "Shelby Supercharged" emblem
• Complete twin blower bracket assembly with idlers for an early 289-302 without power steering
• 2 Black wrinkle finish carb bonnets with the "Cobra" script for 2 x 4 bbl. carbs or single "Cobra" carb box for the 2 stage set up (pictured).
• 8 rib Crankshaft pulley for 3 bolt early 289-302
• 8 rib belt
• 8 rib blower pulleys (different diameters available for more or less boost)
• Special pressurized mechanical high volume fuel pump
• Air cleaner(s) and hoses
• Install booklet and all necessary hardware

Specs:
• This system can potentially make 100-150 extra HP on a 289-302 depending on the engine combination.
• The McCulloch and Paxton blowers use 8-10 oz. of  Ford type "FA" automatic transmission oil.
• The Paxton ball drive blowers are a silent type blower with a fiction drive so it will be hard to turn. ( about 20-30 in. lbs. turn torque)
• These blowers can run hot so a oil cooler option is recommended (250.00)
