Up for auction is one 1965 Oldsmobile Delta 88, 98, Starfire, Jetstar Part Number Service Guide with illustrations and OEM part numbers. This 12 (twelve) page manual was published by Mitchell Manuals in 1971, and is in a loose leaf format that can be installed in a binder. This manual was originally used by dealership body shops to estimate repair costs/damage on 1965 Oldsmobile Delta 88, 98, Starfire, Jetstar vehicles, but is now a valuable source of information for looking up OEM factory part numbers that are discontinued or no longer available. The manual includes information for sheet metal, trim, steering, suspension, AC, cooling, exhaust, and other body mechanical parts. This is an original Mitchell service manual, not a reprint. This manual is used, but is in good used condition. There are scuffs, dirt marks, dog eared pages, some writing on the first page (see photo), and normal wear from use, but the manual is in overall good condition.

Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE (2010) Review & Road Test part 2

Sun, 25 Apr 2010

Part 2 of our review of the 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV6 Land Rover has had a thorough play with their range for 2010, a big part of which has been shoehorning in the latest lumps from Jaguar. The Range Rover Sport now comes with the 5.0 litre S/C engine from the XFR and the rather wheezy 2.7 litre diesel is swapped for the much livelier 3.0 litre from the XF. Not the 3.0 litre from the XF diesel S, mind you – that would have trampled all over the 3.6 TDV8 – but the slightly more pedestrian version with 242bhp.

Aston Martin at the Paris motor show 2008

Fri, 03 Oct 2008

By Ben Barry Motor Shows 03 October 2008 10:13 The buzz around Aston Martin continues. The now independent brand is teasing motor show visitors with a styling buck of the One-77 (the ultra-exclusive £1.2 million supercar that’ll be limited to a run of, yep, 77 when it arrives in 2009) that reveals just its front right and rear left aspects, plus there’s an automatic DBS on display and talk of exciting future Aston Martin projects. James Bond’s favourite Aston now comes with Touchtronic – a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox that’s borrowed from the DB9 but substantially beefed up.

Volvo XC60 gets R-Design package

Thu, 27 Aug 2009

The Volvo XC60 is the next in line to get the R-Design treatment, and it will debut in September at the Frankfurt auto show. The R-Design brings sporty looks to the XC60 with a vamped-up style, a specially tuned sports chassis and a more direct steering gear ratio. The exterior resembles R-Design features on the C30, the S40, the V50 and the XC90.
