ITEM DESCRIPTION: SAVE BIG on a BRAND NEW Steel Bell Housing Spacer Plate and Transmission Zinc Plated Inspection Plate for 1965 1966 1967 1968 Mustang w/ 289 & C4 Automatic Transmission. Steel spacer plate located between the engine block & the bellhousing.

This spacer plate serves a few purposes:

  • Locates the depth of the starter to the flexplate by shimming it.
  • Seals off the bell housing area from debris.
  • Properly spaces the bell housing for proper allignment of the torque converter & the transmission input shaft.
  • Protects the freeze plugs in the event of a flexplate/flywheel failure.
Also includes zinc plated steel inspection plate that keeps dirt and debris out of the transmission. Mounting bolts sold separately. (57007A & 57986Z)

BMW i and Wallpaper* magazine have joined forces for ‘Sustainable Neighborhoods', a global project exploring how design and technology will serve in keeping megacities of the future moving. Students teams from each of the six chosen neighborhoods – from Los Angeles, Paris, London, Hangzhou, Berlin and Tokyo – have been tasked by the two companies, and their school course, to research their nearest megacity for a suitable case study to act as a catalyst for creative thinking about how short term cultural and technological evolution will have an impact on the way we live tomorrow. A series of workshops and in-depth discussions took place with students, tutors and members of BMW's global design team to examine the evolution of cities and research six different city zones, with the aim of defining a new infrastructural, cultural or social project that will scale seamlessly into the future.

Enthusiast demand forces Aston’s hand: V12 Vantage coming America

Thanks to enthusiasts, the most powerful road-going Aston Martin ever is coming to the United States. The British sports-car maker confirmed on Friday that the V12 Vantage--packing 510 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque--will be sold in North and South America. This is a reversal from a year ago, when Aston tantalizingly showed off the car and promptly said it wasn’t coming here.
