The new Ford Mustang (pictured) on sale for Football fans The new Ford Mustang is going to be available in the UK, and in right hand drive for the first time, and Ford has decided to make it a bit of an event. Ford is offering 500 pre-order Mustangs during the final – 130 of which will be RHD for the UK – in a choice of Fastback or convertible and with either the 324bhp 2.3 litre EcoBoost or the 420bhp 5.0 litre V8.

Infiniti Emerg-E: Geneva 2012

Tue, 06 Mar 2012

Infiniti Emerg-E arrives at Geneva The Infiniti Emerg-E has been revealed at Geneva 2012 with 402bhp from a pair of electric motors and a range-extender engine. The Infiniti Emerg-E, which has been revealed today at the Geneva Motor Show, looks to be a properly promising supercar from Infiniti, and utilises the expensive range-extender technology to produce a stunning-looking car with proper performance potential. Power for the Emerg-E comes from a pair of electric motors powering the back wheels with a combined output of 402bhp and is capable, say Infiniti, of up to 300 miles between charge thanks to its 1.2 litre 3-pot range extending engine (which comes from Lotus) and up to 30 miles on EV power.

Higher gas prices? Blame ethanol

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

MarketWatch reported today that the price of ethanol has seen a 30-percent price increase so far this year, taking the price of gasoline up with it, since a good majority of "gasoline" sold today is around 10 percent ethanol. The average price of a gallon of gas today is $2.30, according to FactSet data, but this has varied since the beginning of 2014. Despite the recent surge, ethanol prices have also proved to be rather volatile with reports of it dropping 8 percent this past Thursday after falling 10 percent just the day before.
