Original Ford part. Removed from a 1966 Mercury. Base is stamped C6MF-9275-E. Looks identical to a 1967 ( C7AE ) Ford version I have. Brass float fine. I did bead blast the metal base and the lock ring. I tested sender with a spare fuel gauge and a 6V battery. See picture for 1/2 tank reading with float at the halfway point in its swing. Also showing "F" ( full ) reading with float maxed out against stop. I did check and confirm "E" ( empty ) reading also, but took no picture.

Should fit all 1966-1968 full size Ford product cars with 25 gallon gas tanks excluding the station wagon body style. Please confirm.
