But no one told Lewis Hamilton. His cracking form – and a crackingly good Mercedes – took Hamilton to his 34th pole position in F1 – beating Jim Clark’s record in the process – 0.6 seconds ahead of Daniel Ricciardo and 1.1 seconds ahead of world champion Sebastian Vettel.
Daimler, Renault-Nissan announce alliance

AutoWeek first broke news of the deal last week. Renault-Nissan and Daimler will work together on several specific projects, including small cars, engines and commercial vehicles.
2013 Range Rover gets its first Award

It seems that the Sunday Times felt able to judge all that mattered about the new Range Rover from a ride in the passenger seat of a new Range Rover being driven by Land Rover’s Chief Engineer, Mike Cross. Very odd.
