We are talking about the 1966-1967 Ford Fairlane, Ranchero, Mercury Comet kick panels with the speaker grills built into the panel. We have spent countless hours designing these kick panels to have the level of accuracy that is unmatched. These intricate speaker grills are trimmed on our CNC machine with a .0625" mill to have the precise look of the factory original. There are no speakers included in this auction. You are purchasing two kick panels without speakers. We are proud to offer kick panels that are substantially thicker than what is being offered anywhere else on the market. These kick panels are made with 0.125” thick Haircell grain ABS material to provide our customers with a durable panel that will last for years. Yes we invest more in the price of the raw materials than other manufacturers, but our goal is to produce the finest reproduction panel you can purchase. While we have increased the thickness of our kick panels, we have made sure that they fit just as nice as the original kick panels produced by Ford Motor Company when your car rolled off the assembly line. Don't be fooled into thinking that all reproduction panels are all the same. From the forming process, to the final trim, and even down to the details we offer in the packaging process of your purchase, you will see the differences that Rhino Fabrication offers to our customers. That muscle car concept is now a showroom reality, but any plans of bringing a right-hook version to South African, Aussie or Brit shores have been quashed – presumably due to low-volume sales and GM’s moth-eaten wallet.Much like a Mustang or Challenger, if you live in Britain and want a Camaro, you have to settle for a specially imported left-hooker. Come January 2010, when these rendered images of the VR Camaro will be a reality, UK customers won’t have to worry about doing any of the importation or UK-spec work.
Honda expands recall on airbag inflator
Tue, 03 May 2011Honda has expanded a previously announced recall for airbag problems of certain 2001 through 2003 model year Honda and Acura vehicles. The recall now includes vehicles that may have had the original driver's airbag module replaced with a service part. The replacement airbag inflators could deploy with too much pressure, causing the airbag to rip, resulting in injury or death, according to Honda.
