| Shipping can always be combined to save you extra money. Before placing an order please call or send us an e-mail with your zip code and phone number to receive a quote. Your phone number is required by the carrier before an item can be shipped. Shipping prices by truck will vary depending on weight, size and your location. If you ship to a residential address rather than a commercial address the shipping is usually more expensive by approximately $40-$60. Customers are always free to find their own shipping methods but we have accounts with the shippers we use and therefore in most cases receive a greater discount. If you are a business owner or can ship from your work it might be less expensive for you to arrange shipping of items that must go by truck freight. You can also go to your local terminal to pick up the freight which would be the same price as shipping to a business address.  Unfortunately, despite our best efforts at securely packaging your order, items occasionally get damaged in transit. All parts must be inspected at the time of delivery, regardless of the appearance of the box or boxes. Any damaged items must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt, and immediately reported to the carrier. If you fail to do this your claim may be denied. By signing the Bill Of Lading you agree that your parts were received in satisfactory condition.Some items will be shipped through the United States Postal Service or FedEx when applicable. Oversize items such as hoods, some fenders, full floor pans and quarter panels will be shipped via truck freight pre-paid. You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been shipped. Most items are shipped within 24 hours of placing an order. Most fiberglass hoods have a current wait time of 2-4 weeks. Call or e-mail for details on the specific hood you are interested in. We will only ship to a verified street address if paying with a credit card. No P.O. Box or A.P.O. addresses please. Due to high demand some items may be on backorder at the time you place an order. We will deliver within 30 miles of Detroit. Additional charges may apply. We do ship to Canada and Internationally. Please keep in mind you are responsible for all additional taxes, duties, etc... on your order. We are not responsible if your order is held in customs for any reason. | If you wish to return any part, you may do so within 14 days from the invoice date. All returns must be accompanied by the original invoice. Please call first advising why you wish to return the item or items and we will, at our discretion, issue a Return Authorization Number. Returns will not be accepted or credited without this number. A service charge of 20% will be deducted on all returned merchandise except in the case of factory errors or defects. Discontinued, used, obsolete, or damaged items are not returnable. All returns must come insured with freight prepaid. |

Fri, 20 Aug 2010You might usually associate the Volkswagen Touareg with school-run mums whose furthest foray off-road is up the kerb and onto a wet field – this is something different, this is the new VW Race Touareg 3. That there is, and it’s the Race Touareg 2 that’s taken the chequered flag at the last two Dakar rallies, becoming the first diesel-powered winner in 2009. And after 2010’s 1-2-3 finish, the VW board decided it was onto a good thing and commissioned Volkswagen Motorsport to update its Touareg racer for the January 2011 race.
PPG Design Challenge
Wed, 20 Feb 2008Global supplier PPG Industries presented its Design Challenge awards at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show in January. The annual automotive glass design competition called for students to design a vehicle for a 20-something male named Matt - a recent college graduate beginning his career - whose vehicle needed to be image-enhancing and reliable. Taking inspiration from golf, bamboo charcoal and catamaran boats, 26 transportation design sophomores presented concepts that demonstrated the versatility of glass in providing unique styling as well as utility, comfort and convenience.
Honda CR-Z Mugen arrives February 2012
Mon, 28 Nov 2011Honda Mugen CR-Z will cost under £24k Honda told us that the Mugen CR-Z was just a concept, but now we learn that the hot CR-Z will arrive in the UK in February 2012 from ‘under £24k’. The Honda CR-Z is a decent enough little car; it has sporty handling and sporty looks, but it’s a real anti-climax to drive thanks to its 1.5 litre hybrid setup. Stung by criticism of the CR-Z’s performance, Honda got Mugen to have a play with its sporty little hybrid this year, and they did what Honda should probably have done from the start – strap on a supercharger to the hybrid lump.
