This no reserve action is for a Bulge bell housing for use with 11 1/2 inch clutch on ford fe 390 427 and 428 engines in mustangs cobras cyclones comets thunderbolts cougars galaxie torino GT etc. It is cast # C6OA-6394-D and is date code 9-B-5. Feb 5th 1969. Which would be correct for mid 1969 car and if there was a strike at that time possibly early 1970 cars.It could be used with any fe engine including 352 361 391 406 and 410 engines. It was cast welded in a small area by were the shield attaches on the bottom before i got it so i ground it down for your viewing pleasure. The last 3 pictures show it before paint because after paint it is hard to see.It also had an area on the top that looked like a crack that i ground on to make sure it wasn't.I think it is still a nice part for being high performance to begin with and almost 50 years old. I would put on a show car myself and if they get under it to find it they are just looking to hard and you can ask if you can inspect there car. Rare Vintage Gasser NASCAR.This will fit 1958-1974 fe engines. I also have one each 427 or 428 flywheels that fit 11 1/2 inch clutch in seprate actions that are also ready to go for $299.99 each. fresh turned and new starter ring gears that would work with this.  Call before bidding with questions. If you think this is a NOS part don't bid on it.This is as is where is! I am not a bank and this is like safe way when you buy something you pay for it. If not paid by 5 days i will leave you bad feed back and put you on my no bidders list. If you or your mom owns a shipping company or have a account you are welcome to send me a shipping slip and make arrangements to have it picked up at my house. I will not box it and you shipper will be responsible for that also. I will not take payment threw pay pal for fear that it will get there damaged! When you go to the post office to send the shipping slip you can get a check for me there.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The normal shipping cost include care and time and material to prevent that. If you don't want to pay for that i am good with that and always welcome free local pick up.  Shipping is always an issue but i don't control what they charge me or do i do enough business for them to let me have an account. If you can negotiate a lower price with them then do so.It seams to me that buyer that question my shipping cost first never leave there zip code and in more cases it is more than what i am offering! Keep in mind if indeed it is more that will be the amount you will pay.

Volvo teases new Concept ES ahead of 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Sat, 22 Feb 2014

Volvo Volvo has released these mysterious teaser shots of its new Concept ES show car ahead of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Although largely covered in a dustsheet - annoyingly - we can still see the first details of the new car, which has the silhouette of a long shooting brake. It's also the first confirmation of the name of the car: Concept ES harks back to the 480 ES of the late 1980s, which gave Volvo a distinctive coupe with pop-up headlamps and an unusual rear end (see below).

The Detroit motor show 2010 review, by Gavin Green

Motown may not have rediscovered its mojo but at least the car makers formerly known as the Big Three have regained a little bit of their old swagger since the misery of last year’s Detroit show. After all, it’s not every year that two out of three national car makers go bankrupt. The survivor, Ford, unsurprisingly looked the most confident at this year’s show, never mind that its star car was about as hometown as Bauhaus and bratwurst.
