1966 Chevelle/El Camino  Dash gauge cluster

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to own a complete, 1966 factory OEM floor shift,  gauge package speedometer cluster, this is all original GM except for the chrome bezel.   Yes, this has the correct housing not a kit added to a regular stock housing so no extra indicator holes and incorrect Bulb housings.   The repo kits  and clusters usually have the incorrect lettering on the gauges, the wrong backs and come with the incorrect indicator lenses.  This cluster has been cleaned/Restored and has original OEM parts, the lens is also original and may have some slight imperfections and/or tiny scratches but is in great shape for it’s age.  The BRAKE and BRIGHT indicator lenses are OEM but I may have added a piece of red film behind them for better color as they may have been faded some.    The original gauges have not been tested, the speedometer spins freely and was bench tested and appears to work properly.  Please look at the pictures as this is the exact item you are bidding on and it is being sold as-is.   Ask any questions prior to bidding or purchasing.  Thank You.

This will also fit in a 1967 Chevelle and El Camino Keywords:  1966 1967 Chevelle, El Camino, Chevy, Chevrolet, Dash, Interior, speedometer, gauges, fuel, clock, 3 speed, Turbo Hydra-matic, automatic, transmission

Concept Car of the Week: Volkswagen Microbus (2001)

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

The turn of the millennium seemed to induce a feeling of nostalgia among car manufacturers and with it a plethora of heritage/retro designs, including the new Mini, new Ford Mustang and Nissan Z. Following the runaway success of its New Beetle, which probably started the trend, VW asked itself whether it could enjoy the same success with a modern interpretation of the legendary T1 Microbus. Designed at the surf-central design studio in Simi Valley, California, the Microbus Concept took ample inspiration from its distant ancestor, but was modernized in every way.

2012 Fiesta ST confirmed

2012 Fiesta ST caught testing in the US (photo via WCF) We really like the current Ford Fiesta; it’s a cracking little car. It’s just a shame that the closest it comes to being a hot hatch is the little more than lukewarm Fiesta Zetec S. But that’s about to change, and not before time.
