This is a very nice brand new well-detailed black 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 die-cast collectible. It was made in 1:64 scale in the premium adult Car and Driver series by the AutoWorld Company and is nicely detailed including proper trim, authentic factory-correct Super-Stock wheels/redline tires, a functional hood that opens to reveal the 400 Rocket V8 and a very well-done interior. The new Saab 9-5 sedan and a proposed replacement for the 9-3 will be killed off if General Motors Co. winds down its Swedish subsidiary, AutoWeek has learned. The new 9-5, a longer-wheelbase version of the Opel Insignia and the Buick Regal, is poised to go down in the annals of automotive history as a major rarity--a design that was fully tooled for production yet never got built.

Toyota GT 86 Supercharged in development With the Toyota GT 86 now revealed, it seems Toyota are working on a more powerful supercharged version. The Toyota GT 86 is now properly out in the open, and it promises to offer lots of fun in a light and appealing package. Almost a modern version of the MX5, but hardly the Toyota equivalent of the Porsche Cayman Toyota would like us to think.

GM expands credit union program nationally

General Motors on Wednesday launched a nationwide test program that gives 90 million credit union members access to the company's Credit Union Member Discount Program with participating GM dealers. The "Invest in America" program also gives members access to financing on new-vehicle purchases. This follows a four-state Midwest program GM began early last month.
