It’s almost exactly a year since we reported Ssangyong’s return to the UK market with the Ssangyong Korando, a competitive budget compact SUV they hoped would set them on a path to sales success in the UK. Vauxhall launches powerful 1.0 petrol engine

The tiny newcomer has only three cylinders, but thanks to a turbocharger it coughs up more power and torque than many normal 1.6-litre equivalents. It’s set to debut in Vauxhall’s funky Adam supermini, although the new engine will be display-only when it emerges at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
NHTSA investigates GM cars for possible brake light problems
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Federal safety regulators are looking at three General Motors vehicles for potential brake light defects that could result in a recall of more than a million midsize vehicles. A Automotive News they were investigating an estimated 550,000 Pontiac G6s because of possible brake light malfunctions that could increase the chances of an accident. NHTSA said it had received 212 consumer complaints concerning brake light problems on 2005-09 modelG6s.
