2014 fuel duty rise cancelled
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Chancellor George Osborne has confirmed in his Autumn Statement that the proposed 2014 fuel duty increase has been cancelled. This means the scheduled 2p increase in tax on every litre of petrol will now no longer happen. BMW goes front-wheel drive for the 2-series Active Tourer
Thu, 13 Feb 2014BMW's long-held reputation for producing only rear- and four-wheel drive vehicles comes to an end with the the new 2-series Active Tourer, its first-ever front-wheel-drive production model. The cornerstone of BMW's Geneva show stand next month, the 2-series Active Tourer marks a significant turning point for the German automaker, adopting a transverse-mounted engine and standard FWD. It arrives here in early 2015.

Fri, 28 Jun 2013The Ford Fiesta ST and the streets of Detroit and Belle Isle are the stars of this promotional video released on June 26 by Ford Racing to help promote the ongoing bid of organizers who are hoping to lure the X Games to the Motor City in 2014. Detroit is one of four finalists for the 2014 X Games, along with Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C., and Chicago. An announcement is expected late this summer as to which of the three cities will be awarded the three-year run of Summer X Games.
