This is the adjusting bracket for a 1967 1968 1969 Mustang Falcon, Fairlane Cougar, Galaxie , Torino or other Fords or Mercurys with a 289 302 or 351W V8. This bolts to the water pump and also attaches to the power steering pump surround bracket. The slot allows adjustment of the tension on the the power steering belt. I also have the power steering "surround" bracket that works with this bracket listed in my auctions

eBay offers free vehicle-history reports
Wed, 11 Nov 2009All vehicles built since the 1981 model year listed for sale on eBay now include vehicle history reports from Experian Automotive at no cost to vehicle buyers or sellers. Starting Wednesday, the reports are available on all vehicles sold in eBay auction and classified formats, as well as for vehicles sold by dealers or by private parties, said Nicolas Franchet, senior director of U.S. vehicles at eBay Motors.
