What you are viewing is an NOS still in the Ford box, front windshield mounting rubber gasket. It carries a part number of D3TZ-1003110-F. It is factory correct for Ford trucks 1973-1977 without the chrome molding. However, it will work on the 1978-1979 models. The 1978-1979 models used a this 1/2" wide insert. This rubber is not set up for that but it will work. They do reproduce these rubbers. I have used them and they are not near as good as OEM. If you are doing a restoration or just want your windshield to seal properly this is the way to go. If you have any questions or concerns about this item please ask before purchasing.
