Supercars unleashed in Qatar

With an ensemble of acoustically harmonious supercars roaring, the scene looking fresh out “Need for Speed,” this annual gathering is simply amazing with all of the exotic rides preening in every color of the spectrum. The 2014 European Supercar Gathering took place on March 14 in Qatar and showcased some of the finest specimens from an array of brands. Naming all the cars worth naming would make us winded, but here is just a taste of what was spotted in the clip.

£127k McLaren MP4-12C tops the bill at BCA Auction

A host of luxury and performance cars went under the hammer at the BCA Blackbushe Top Car Auction this week, including a McLaren MP4-12C and a nearly-new Jaguar F-Type. BCA said, "the high-end prestige and sports car market has a strong following with buyers and we have seen lots of interest in high value vehicles during 2013, with bidders prepared to invest six-figure sums for the right vehicle." Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (2012) first pics

These are the first official shots of the Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, which goes on sale in March 2012.  The convertible top still looks as if it was made of soft fabric, but it actually consists of three semi-rigid lightweight panels coated with a novel furry material, which conceals the cutlines. A fabric top layer finishes things off, and is claimed to be very soundproof, while the rear glass screen is heated and scratchproof. So the new Porsche 911 Cabriolet is a bit of a porker?
