3892657 Casting with YS code ( manual trans and 4 barrel carb ) and no VIN, December 7 of 1966 Casting Date, with a January 25th 1967 Assembly Date. This was used in 1967 Model Year only.  Used in the 275 hp passenger car, 275 and 325hp Chevelle, 290hp 302 Camaro 210 and 275hp Camaro's and the 300 and 350hp Corvette. Original block and rotating assembly for a 1967 Corvette, SS or Z28 Camaro, or SS Chevelle. Included is the original forged steel crankshaft casting #4577 and rods and pistons. The crankshaft is ready to use just as it is, it is turned .030 and .030 and in excellent condition. The block has some minor pitting in the cylinders and will need to be bored. I have included a picture of the worst cylinder. Included is the original harmonic balancer, but the rubber is deteriorating from age. This was a running, driving engine that still had the antifreeze in it when I disassembled it. I can have the machine work done or the short block assembled if you prefer not to do it yourself. I can also find the heads if you know what casting number you need. I can also sell separate if you are only interested in the block or the crankshaft. Call me at 817-320-5851, or message me with questions. I will ship the most economically possible. If you want it, I will help figure it out.

The Volvo S60 Polestar has been revealed as a 508bhp version of the S60 T6 with widened track and huge turbo. We knew there was a Volvo S60 Polestar on the way, because Volvo teased us with it. What we didn’t know, and still don’t for sure, is whether the S60 Polestar is a one-off like the C30 Polestar or whether it will become a production model.

Audi TT (2014) in detail: news, prices, specs

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 08 August 2014 10:39 Could the third-generation Audi TT finally be about to live up to the mini-me Porsche 911 billing that its looks have always promised but its dynamics never delivered? As tech development boss Oscar Da Silva Martins talks CAR round a cutaway of the car’s monocoque ahead of its launch in November, it seems a tantalising possibility. With a clever mixture of aluminium and steel, the new TT’s kerbweight is not only some 140kg shy of the iconic Mk1 of 1998 but also 50kg lighter than its steel-and-aluminium-based predecessor, despite extra equipment that boosts both safety and convenience.

Australian couple breaks Guinness record for fuel economy

Wed, 19 Aug 2009

An Australian couple has broken their own record for fuel economy, light-footing it across the lower 48 American states to the tune of 67.90 mpg. Helen and John Taylor beat the mark of 58.82 mpg that they set last year, landing them again in the Guinness Book of Records. They drove a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI for both runs.
