1968 - 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Bumper Overrider (possibly older models too), this installs Emergency Brake.   This boot is brand new, never installed and rubber very pliable, no cracking, and in new condition.   The part number is listed in the image, please reference online to make sure its an exact fit.  These support install inside the posts where the overrider (a fancy word for the tubular upper portion of the bumper that looks like a rail) connects within the posts.  The rails fit into the cylinder portion of the supports to add stability.  These I believe will work for either LEFT or right, but best to confirm with Airhead parts or another bug shop before bidding.  these are both labeled as RIGHT or passenger side supports.

Thanks for looking and best wishes in the auction!

The no-show cars: a reader rant on mad concepts

Wed, 14 Apr 2010

Instigated by Harley Earl at General Motors in the late 30s with the quaintly named Buick Y-Job, show cars, or concept cars, were presented to an excited public eager for new things. University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2008

Fri, 05 Sep 2008

Destinations, the graduate show of the Transport Design degree course at the University of Huddersfield, showed projects created by graduating students earlier this summer as part of the School of Art and Design's Graduate Show week, and also at the New Designers exhibition held in London's Business Design Centre. While a significant proportion of the course is orientated towards automotive exterior and interior design, projects also allow for a wider interpretation of transport design including boats, public transport, trucks and motorcycles as well as more conceptual approaches towards transport issues of the future. This year's graduates investigated a large range of themes and produced a variety of design solutions.
