Mon, 17 Mar 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 17 March 2008 12:09 Avro’s 720 Mirage Ford GT is the supercar for when one limited edition just isn’t enough. Just ten of these Roush-tuned Fords will be made, and yes, the 720 signifies the horsepower output. In 2007 Avro and Roush unleashed the 600bhp 600RE Ford GT.

Vauxhall Insignia VXR (2009) pricing confirmed

Fri, 10 Jul 2009

By Richard Webber First Official Pictures 10 July 2009 10:22 Vauxhall’s new Insignia VXR is going to be one of the performance bargains of the year – the 321bhp feisty family car will cost £30,995 when sales start in autumn 2009. It’s aimed at the wired family man who values pace as much as practicality and value, a sort of Audi S4 on the cheap. The numbers say yes.

Toyota Auris Touring Sports: Paris 2012

Thu, 27 Sep 2012

Toyota has revealed the first estate version of the Auris – the 2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports – at the Paris Motor Show. It’s a sensible move by Toyota to add an estate version to a car that competes in a segment where 25 per cent of all cars sold are estates, and the Auris Estate looks a decent offering. The Auris Touring Sports sits on the same 2600mm wheelbase as the Auris hatch, but it gets and extra 285mm longer thanks to the new shed on the back, a shed that offers what looks like a decent carrying capacity )although Toyota aren’t actually telling us how much ‘stuff’ the Auris estate can carry).
