This auction is for a PAIR of Left and Right hand side 1968 model year only Charger, Charger R/T, Coronet R/T, and Super Bee, having the Rallye Dash, and without Air Conditioning, lower Dash filler panels, with the lined surface.  These are Chrysler Part Numbers 2889518 and 2889519 and have a casting number of 2927606 and 2927607 and a date code of 63388, with the left hand shift two and the right shift One.  They are also Part Type Code 23-33-135. These were removed from a 1968 Charger R/T and have been in safe dry storage wrapped in paper towels for the last 41 years. I just discovered that I still had them yesterday. These would fit all 1968 Chargers XP 29 and XS 29, having just a heater or heater delete, and No A/C, Coronet R/T, including convertibles WS 23 or 27  or Super Bee WM 23 or 21 models with a heater or heater delete, and only the DODGES, not any B body Plymouth models. I only have this one pair for these cars so please don't hesitate if you would like them.

Jezza gets the millionth Range Rover together with Lance Corporal Matt Croucher and Private Derek Derenalagi It’s a very large number of Range Rovers, 1,000,000. Although you do have to remember that is a production number over a forty year period. Still, long time or not it’s a milestone for the first proper luxury SUV to achieve, and in its fortieth year of production just to make the maths nice and easy – 25,000 a year.

Doomed Saturns, Hummers make assembly-line curtain calls

Two doomed General Motors brands--Saturn and Hummer--are getting their last hurrahs on the assembly line. GM assembled 1,037 Saturn Outlooks last month after not making any Saturns since October. “We are building out a few Saturns to utilize existing material,” GM spokeswoman Kim Carpenter said.

Volvo will overhaul its naming system in the coming years - removing some of the uncertainty over odd numbers in the same range, such as the S40 and V50.Chief executive Stephen Odell today admitted he found Volvo's badges confusing when he first joined Volvo two years ago. 'When I arrived at Volvo I struggled to understand the nomenclature,' he admitted. 'Yes, we will be changing it.'Under the new naming system, the S40 and V50 would carry the same number.
