Very nice late 1969 396/402 375hp L78 4-bolt mains CE Block. This is a warranty Counter Exchange replacement block that would be correct for a late 1969 or a 1970 L78 Camaro, Nova, or Chevelle. Next best thing to numbers matching. The casting number is 3969854 and the date is H 21 9 which translates to August 21, 1969. The block has been freshly decked and checked for cracks at my machine shop. The CE stamping on the ID pad was preserved. Block has 1 sleeve and is currently .060 over at a 4.185 bore. Can be honed for a loose .060 or bore to .070. This Hi Performance block has extra thick cylinder walls with plenty of bore room left. I am only selling because I changed directions and decided to go with a small block setup instead. Shipping is the buyers responsibility and cost. $300 is just an estimate and may be more or less depending on buyers location and and carrier chosen.
