1969 Buick Riviera 1971-1976 Olds Pontiac NOS door escutcheon 8721457

Product Description

NOS genuine GM door pull strap end escutcheons, part number 8721457.

Buick used two of these in the 1969 Riviera, at the back ends of the straps. The front ends of the straps used escutcheons that had an R logo molded in. These will fit the fronts if you want to use them there, as they are indentical, just no logo. 1968 Buick Riviera used the same size for the escutcheons, but they had the same R logo on the fronts, and some fancy scroll-work on the rears. Again, these being identical except for patterns/logos, they can be substituted.

Oldsmobile used them both front and rear of the front door straps (4 total per car) on their 1971 - 1975 Custom Cruiser (full-size) Wagon. Not sure why 1976 is not listed, since it is almost identical to 1975, but there is no listing for these escutcheons for the 1976 Custom Cruiser.

Pontiac used them both front and rear of the front door straps (4 total per car) on their 1971 - 1975 GrandVille, 1975 Bonneville and 1976 Bonneville (Brougham only).

This auction is for a pair of these escutcheons, just as shown in the pictures - complete with original GM box, never installed

Shipping - Payment

A few words to make things easier.

1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising BEFORE you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.  AND, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.

2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.

Thanks for your bid.

Eterniti Motors readies two SUVs and a sports car

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

New British car brand Eterniti Motors is steaming ahead with its plan to launch the Hemera - a new Cayenne-based SUV due in 2012 - and there are two other projects waiting in the wings, including a dramatic sports car. The first project for the London-based company is taking Porsche's Cayenne Turbo S and reconfiguring it with exotic new materials, a fresh wardrobe and a stretched cabin to free up more cabin space. Eterniti has also issued sketches of this supercar, but won't reveal yet the donor vehicle.

Call over winter transport issues

Fri, 03 Jan 2014

MORE MUST BE DONE to enable transport systems to cope with bad winter weather, a report by MPs said today. Recent floods and gales showed that disruption was not just caused by snow, the report by the House of Commons Transport Committee said. Transport's winter resilience had improved but there was a risk that a few years of mild winter weather "could lead to a false sense of security and reduce the sector's preparedness over the longer term", the report said.
