You are looking at a hard to find 1969 Camaro Z28, RS/SS, Factory All GM BV coded 12 bolt rearend complete less drums.
The axle tube numbers are BV 021802 E Housing casting # 3894860 NF Housing casting date B69 4.10 ring and pinion casting # 3862526 4.10 Ring and pinion date code 2-69 174 posi carrier Everything moves free, no damage to ring and pinion or carrier. Ring an Pinion has a nice wear pattern and no excessive wear , no chips or damage. The carrier gears are in good condition. Everything is factory and date coded February 1969. Just need to be restored / rebuilt. The center section has alot of grease and old oil build up. The axle tubes have some rust scale but nothing that cant be sanded down and make it smooth. I just restored a rearend that had tubes that were worst off and after spending time sanding and powder coating the axle tubes / housing looked great. All of the brake hardware is there and so are the original Emergency brake cables (both sides) are free and slide as they should. This is a very nice factory original 69 dated rearend and they are becoming harder to find. I did my best to decribe the rearend condition. Your more then welcome to come over and inspect the rearend prior to purchasing. I perfer a local sale ! This auction does NOT Include Shipping. I perfer the buyer to set up shipping .
