YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO 5000 RPM TACHOMETER
BLACK FACE, GREEN NUMBERS, ORANGE POINTER 0-70 RPM/100 SS - 350 / 5 X 7 TACH THE GOOD: IT IS IN GREAT VISIBLE CONDITION, BLACK FACE WITH GREEN NUMBERS AND ORANGE POINTER. THE BLACK FACE HAS TWO VERY SMALL BLEMISHES ON IT THAT I CAN SEE, THE VERY TOP EDGE OF THE BLACK FACE HAS A PIN SIZE CHIP AND THE LEFT ROUNDED EDGE HAS THE SAME SIZE BLEMISH ON IT. I BELIEVE ITS HIDDEN ONCE INSTALLED IN THE DASH. UNKNOWN: NOT FOR SURE IF IT WORKS, NO WAY TO TEST OR VERIFY IF IT DOES. I PURCHASED IT AS A PART OF A COLLECTION OF PARTS, THIS GAUGE WAS SITTING ON A SHELF INSIDE A SOFT PLASTIC BAG. WAS TOLD BY THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM THAT IT WAS REMOVED FROM A CAMARO BECAUSE IT WASN'T WORKING. I HAVE NO PAPERWORK OR ANY DOCUMENTATION. THE BACK SIDE OF THE TACHOMETER BODY DOES HAVE BLUE STAMPS ON IT. Wed, 20 Sep 2006Students from Detroit's College for Creative Studies and University of Michigan have unveiled the results of the 18th annual American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) summer automotive design internship. Three engineering students joined three transportation design students to produce concept vehicles that targeted either Generation X, Baby Boomers and the Millennial generation. The concept vehicles embody leading-edge steel technology utilizing a flexible platform.
Mitsubishi to kill current U.S.-made lineup, bring in new platform
Thu, 20 Jan 2011Mitsubishi Motors Corp. plans to kill its current lineup of U.S.-made vehicles, including the Eclipse sporty car and Endeavor crossover, over the next three years and switch to producing global vehicles at its Illinois plant, partly to target export markets. The current nameplates will be phased out by 2014 as part of the carmaker's “Jump 2013” mid-term business plan unveiled Thursday by president Osamu Masuko.
