You are bidding on an OEM original Hurst 4 speed competition Plus Shifter, rods, and mount plate for a 1969 GTO or LeMans with Muncie transmission, bucket seats, with or without console

 

Included in the auction are the shifter, 3 rods, mount plate #9785269, reverse trans lever,  and the round #5324 chrome stick.

 

The 2 forward trans levers are missing

These are available as reproductions

 

I bench tested the reverse detent and it shifts properly.

 

The shifter is original and unrestored.

The shifter is in good condition for it age

It has no rust problem.

It looks like it can be used as is but would need restoration for show condition.

 

Will work on 69 Muncie 4 speed M22 M21 M20  Transmission

 

 The OEM Hurst chrome stick is stamped #5324 chrome is in good used original condition.

It has some scratches and marks from normal use.


It is in overall good condition or driver condition would need new chrome for show condition.

The ball threads are in good condition.

 

The name Hurst is stamped on the Chrome shifter lever.

 

The 2 forward trans levers are missing

It now seems that this is getting closer to reality, as BMW has let it be known that the range of small city cars they are working on as part of the ‘BMW Project i’ will be launched as a ‘Sub Brand’. But what does that mean?

The Los Angeles Auto Show has confirmed the theme for its annual Design Challenge. This year marks the eleventh time the contest has been held, and eight global design studios will each produce a concept to showcase a connected vehicle or interface system in response to the theme: 'Sensing the Future: How Will Cars Interact with Us In 2029?' The show's organizers have confirmed that BMW Group DesignworksUSA, Honda USA, Honda Japan, McLaren Automotive, Nissan, Peterbilt Motors, Qoros Auto, and SAIC Motor MG will all take part. "Los Angeles is one of the world's most dynamic cities constantly keeping its eye on the future of technological advancements that largely affect our daily lives," said Lisa Kaz, President of the LA Auto Show.

MINI Paceman Coooper S hits the Nurburgring (video)

The next MINI to hit showrooms – the MINI Paceman – has been caught testing at the Nurburgring ahead of a Paris Motor Show. We did think that the MINI Paceman – which arrived at the Detroit Auto Show last year as a concept – would make it to market as a Countryman Coupe. But just last month MINI let it be known that they’re actually going with the funkier Paceman rather than the descriptive, though predictable, MINI Countryman Coupe for the production version of the Paceman which will debut in production guise at the Paris Motor Show in September.
