USA made, reproduction kick panels for 1970-1971 Ford Fairlane, Ranchero, Torino, Mercury Montego and Cyclone cars. We offer kick panels that are 30% thicker than what is being offered on the market. Our kick panels are made with 0.125” thick Haircell grain ABS material. While we have increased the thickness of our kick panels, we have made sure that they fit just as nice as the original kick panels produced by Ford Motor Company. Our thicker panels also resist to warping once installed. PACE's global Portable Assisted Mobility Device project gets underway
Thu, 11 Apr 2013The Partners for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education (PACE) has challenged selected global college teams to design a Portable Assisted Mobility Device (PAMD) that will help solve mobility and sustainability problems within megacities in 2030. Each team of selected global colleges will consist of one Industrial Design Institution and several Engineering and Manufacturing Institutions, with students working alongside their professors and industry mentors to help develop their designs for a small power-assisted vehicle that can be taken on public transport, stowed or carried indoors. The PAMD concepts are designed to carry one passenger and their personal items such as a briefcase or backpack. The PAMD must address the transportation issues as the population grows within a target market that the teams specify.
EPA rules greenhouse gases pose danger; more regulation expected
Fri, 17 Apr 2009The EPA has proposed a finding that greenhouse gases from new vehicles and industrial plants pose a danger to the public, kicking off a process that could result in tighter regulation of carbon dioxide emissions. The EPA's findings come two years after the U.S. Supreme Court ordered the agency to determine whether these emissions contribute to harmful air pollution under the Clean Air Act or whether the science is too uncertain.
