This Edelbrock Performer intake came off a 351C, but I don't know what year engine it was. According to the Edelbrock web site, this aluminum intake will fit 1970 to 1973 Ford and Mercury 351C, 351M, and 400M engines. You be the judge. It obviously needs to be cleaned up, but otherwise is in good shape. All of the bolt and plug hole threads appear to be in decent shape to the degree that they would most likely be near perfect once it's media blasted.

It's a dual plane 4-bbl. intake, and Edelbrock suggests using certain carb plates and gaskets. For a more detailed description of the specs, suggestions, and applications, go to the Edelbrock web site.

Within a couple of years, the full-on nitro-sucking flopper would come to be the quickest thing with four wheels and a body with some resemblance to a production automobile, ushering the Funny Car era.
