Condition:Used Brand:Goodyear Polyglas Warranty:No Rim Diameter:5.5

An original survivor Goodyear Polyglas Custom Wide Tread E70-14 spare tire/wheel  from a 1970 Dodge Dart 340 Swinger that we removed from the trunk prior to selling the car and have had stored here since the 1980s.It appears to have been mounted and driven on briefly back in the day showing very little wear. The white letters do have scuffing from riding around on the trunk floor, there is a crack going all the way around above the white letters and extensive cracking on side walls/tread,the rim has the original black paint.Made in Canada. We have not tried to air it up and have not checked to see if it has any air in it,if it does,it's probably circa 1970 vintage air.Item might be great for display at car shows but we would not rely on it to be safe for use as a spare tire to be driven on.The 5.5 inch wide rim has the early A-body 5 on 4 inch bolt pattern.Free shipping by USPS Parcel Select anywhere in the continental U.S.,will not ship elsewhere.Payment must be received within 3 days of auctions close.

Sat, 13 Jun 2009

The Skoda Octavia GreenLine has been released in the UK The trouble is, there’s not a huge amount to say. You can already guess that the tweaks to get the CO2 emissions down and the mpg up are going to run along the same lines as everyone else’s Ec-Cars. Think what Ford has done with the ECOnetic or VW with the BlueMotion and you won’t be far wrong.

Driverless cars: why you wont be buying one soon (2014)

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

By Damion Smy Motor Industry 24 March 2014 23:00 The driverless car is here – yet it’s not for sale. The technology has been showcased by almost every major car maker in recent times. In 2013 at the company’s AGM, Audi chief Rupert Stadler drove an A7 onto the stage via his iPhone, and BMW took journalists down autobahns in saloons that changed lanes by themselves, while Mercedes promises an autonomous S-class on sale in 2015.
