Offered here is a rare 1970-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 dash map light complete in nice condition. This is a genuine GM part, not a reproduction. This item was long forgotten in storage until recently when we uncovered a stash of parts from a 442 convertible we had back in the day. Part has been tested, works and looks free of discoloration. What looks to be the original bulb is included. Genuine GM, next to impossible to find. Here’s your chance to grab it so don’t let it slip away! Volvo gives T6 engine the Polestar treatment
Fri, 02 Dec 2011Just weeks after announcing its Polestar performance kits for the T5-engined cars, Volvo is now offering packages for the XC60, S60 and XC70 models fitted with its turbocharged six-cylinder engine. The T6 Polestar software package adds 25 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque, bringing totals to 325 hp and 355 lb-ft, respectively. Volvo says the added power won't result in greater fuel consumption, as the tuning of the engine only increases power when needed--though we'd imagine most drivers will feel the need often enough to significantly affect mileage.
2012 Zafira Tourer revealed
Wed, 18 May 20112012 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer - pretty much the same as the concept GM’s European arms of Vauxhall and Opel managed to tease us with the Zafira Tourer Concept back in February with a hologram of the new 7-seat Zafira hovering over the iPad of designer Mark Adams. Which if we have to have new cars teased this was at least a thought-out and original way to go. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we saw the Zafira Tourer Concept turning up at the Geneva Motor Show as a future big brother for the Zafira and potential competition for the Ford S-Max.

Mon, 09 Jan 20122012 Peugeot 208 Engines Confirmed The engine line-up for the new 2012 Peugeot 208 has been confirmed for the UK with a choice of five diesel and five petrol engines. It’s been a couple of months since the 2012 Peugeot 208 was revealed, but Peugeot has finally confirmed the extensive engine line-up for the 2012 208, and unsurprisingly the focus is on economy and emissions, with four of the diesel engines available hitting the increasingly uncredible 99g/km, and the smallest petrol engine managing the same feat. The 68bhp 1.4 litre diesel manages to be very frugal when it comes to emissions – especially with stop-start fitted – with emissions of just 87g/km and an average of 83.1mpg.
