Up for auction is a 1970 BLUE Original passengers side dash GLOVE BOX DOOR for FIREBIRD, TRANS AM, FORMULA, ESPRIT.  This is a 1970 ONLY COLOR OFTEN FOUND IN THE TRANS AM AND SOME FIREBIRDS.  This color is hard to find, yet alone in this great shape.  It is USED but in pretty nice shape in my opinion. No rust issues.  The hinge is in excellent shape, no issues.

This cover is also correct and will work for other 1970 - 1981 firebird or trans am, except you would have to probably dye it.

180,000 'lied over motor insurance'

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

NEARLY 3,500 cases of motorists lying on their applications for insurance or deliberately leaving relevant information off them are being uncovered by insurers each week, new figures reveal. Some 180,675 attempts to make fraudulent applications for motor insurance as people tried to get cheaper cover than they were entitled to were detected last year, equating to around 3,475 incidents a week, according to data released by the Association of British Insurers (ABI). These claims were exposed as lies by the insurer either at the point when the person applied for a policy, or after they had obtained cover and had gone on to make a claim.

Tomorrow's world: Ford's downsized 1.0-litre Ecoboost

Direct injection petrol and diesel, hybridisation, downsizing, turbocharging, twin-charging the list of efficiency-boosting, fuel saving features being offered in new cars is becoming so long, buying a new one is like revising for exams. Is there room for another? Apparently so, but since there’s no official name for it yet we’ll call it ‘super-downsizing’ or in other words, using a very small engine in a not so small car.

Euro NCAP latest results

Wed, 19 Dec 2007

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 19 December 2007 11:36 The latest round of Euro NCAP results are announced today, with another round of high scores from a range of superminis and family cars. But none of the cars tested could manage more than three stars for pedestrian protection. Daihatsu's Materia supermini and, surprisingly, the Honda Civic trailed the pack with only four stars for occupant safety, but the Merc C-class, Renault Laguna, Volvo V70 and – impressively – the tiny Mazda 2 all came out with the top score.
