I am listing these Boss 302/351 cast aluminum valve covers on a Buy-It-Now/Make offer. As you can see they have a Autolite chrome oil filler cap included. They also have their original drippers and baffles with the correct screws in them. I believe them to be original so I'm not sure why the plug wire brackets are riveted. I examined them closely and found one spot on each cover the appears to be cracked. I put a mark on the picture so you can see them. If you should decide you want them I have someone who can weld them at a small additional charge. (25.00)  I will ship them so please ignore the Ebay shipping calculator. I figure it would be about 35.00 to ship them but wait for me to send an invoice before paying. Any questions, send message through Ebay or call Paul @ 909-240-3262. I have a set of rebuilt/ported/polished heads to let go also. Call if interested, Thanks.

BAC Mono: Fancy a Drive?

Fri, 08 Apr 2011

RS Academy grabs the first two BAC Monos Last month we reported on a new single-seat road car that offers more thrills than a garage full of hypercars for less than the cost of an M5 – the BAC Mono. The brothers Briggs - Briggs Automotive Company – have created the beautifully built, finished and specified Mono as the world’s only single-seat production car (well, the only one that’s actually made it in to production, anyway). Weighing no more than Kylie after a heavy diet, the Mono can scoot to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds before running out of steam somewhere around 170mph.

The World Automotive Design Competition, sponsored by Alias and hosted by the Canadian International Auto Show, is back with more participating design schools and an impressive list of prizes. Design students from twenty-six schools around the world have been invited to design a World Car that visually identifies its cultural origins and, at the same time, has appeal, and can be sold throughout the world, in at least five countries on three continents. The vehicle should be easily recognized as coming from a particular culture.
