“Here's a nice solid, good-working pair of 1970 Dodge Coronet, Super Bee, or R/T front parking / turn signal assemblies. Both have clean housings, and solid mounting brackets, but left bracket does have some surface rust / light scale, but with a bead blasting, should clean up pretty well, other than a little pitting. The sockets are nice and clean and good working on both, as is the wiring, jacket over wiring, and plugs. With a clean up and painting, they will look and work great. Put your good used or new reproduction / NOS lenses on these and they will be great! Hard to find, not available in reproduction anywhere that I know.”

Up for your auction bids is this very good original used pair of 1970 Coronet, Super Bee or R/T front parking / turn signal light housing, with socket, bulbs, wiring and plugs.  These have been stored away on the shelf for many years.  Both have good solid housings and nice sockets, with good-working bulbs,  as well nice wiring and plug. Some surface rust and light scale on left side mounting bracket, but still solid.  Both have good gaskets for lens, as well as mouting screws still there to attach lens.  Left housing has some discoloring inside housing-- by bulb, that you may want to repaint the silver paint inside housing to be more reflective. 

Hard to find pieces that are not available in reproduction anywhere.  Would look real nice cleaned up and refinished with some nice lenses installed in them.  Put in those good bids today at my reasonable opening bid price on these.  Thanks for looking!

Goodyear recalls Wrangler Silent Armor tires

Goodyear said it will recall almost 41,000 light-truck tires over concerns of partial tread separation. Tread separation could lead to vehicle damage if the tread strikes the car, or an accident could occur if the tire fails. The sizes recalled include: -- LT235/80R17 LRE -- LT325/60R18 LRE -- LT275/70R18 LRE -- LT265/70R17 LRE -- LT245/75R17 LRE -- LT285/70R17 LRD The affected Wrangler Silent Armor tires were produced from March 31 to May 31, 2009.

A man in the UK purchased an old Morris Isis...then forgot about it in the back of his garage for 12 years. When he rediscovered the car and cleared all the trash off, he also learned it was one of the oldest of its kind in the world. While we have a few questions, not the least of which is "how does one forget a car parked in the garage," we're pleased to see that the owner has since restored the car and plans to strap a trailer on the back and take it to the beach later this summer.
