Here is a 1970 E Body console needing some attention. There is a chip of plastic missing in the shifter  area as pictured.  this is the weak area of these consoles because of the thin strip of plastic that is supposed to hole it together. the rest of this console is very nice with glove compartmet lid and hinge . The latch button does not work well and the latch hook is missing. The console metal insert is made of cast pot metal has some rust pits here and there. Please look at pictures carefully and ask questions if you have any. 35.00 shipping to lower 48

Critics, however, say that scrapping older vehicles hurts collectors by reducing the number of older models available and also hurts those least able to afford to buy newer vehicles by driving up the price of used cars.
