I am retiring and its time to sell alot of the goodies my late husband and I have accumulated over the years. Up for sale is an extremely hard to find 1970 GMC Tiltcab AM Truck Radio. It is a vertical mounted radio. There is a tag on the side of the radio that says Model 06TTCP1. It has a note on the bottom cover that says "Good! Serviced 9/09". We picked up this radio and alot of others over the years at various venues. I recently had it tested and it plays great on AM. The case is clean with no rust. All mechanicals work as they should. The lens and pushbuttons look to be in good condition. The chrome nose has some very minor pitting. The radio comes without knobs as shown. It's a nice looking radio. I'm selling the radio without a warranty because the electonics are over 35 years old and I don't trust old electronics. I will be putting up more radios from my late husbands estate for sale this week and next week. The radio you see in the picture is the one you get. Please read description and ask any questions before purchase. Buyer pays fixed rate shipping of $15.00  for USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Shipping (Lower 48 states only). I carefully wrap my radios in Bubble Wrap to insure safe shipping. I accept Paypal. Any questions, feel free to email me. Good Luck and Thanks for Looking!!      RA-301

Aston Martin's race plans

Tue, 20 Mar 2007

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 20 March 2007 04:54 It’s only just over a week since Aston Martin was sold, but today it confirmed plans to race at Le Mans. The DBR9 will return to the famous La Sarthe circuit in June. Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9.
