Here's a well et of seat covers from a '72 Cougar. The fronts will interchange with Mustang bucket seats, the rear covers may interchange with Grande coupe but not sportsroof.

I found these covers almost 20 years ago - a friend had removed them from a low mileage parts car. The fabric is in great shape and the vinyl shows very little wear. I'm missing one front, bottom seat cushion, and the foam is not included on one front seat upper cover.  The reinforcement wire has poked out of one of the rear covers but it can be sewn or glued back in place.

Overall this is a really neat find and I hope someone has a good use for them.

Please add $18 for shipping in the continental US.  Thanks for looking!

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV big dealer push – first UK cars being delivered

Wed, 04 Jun 2014

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – moving quickly in the UK The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, the plug-in hybrid Outlander, has been the subject of a big marketing campaign by Mitsubishi in recent weeks, and this weekend sees a big dealer push to educate buyers. But actually, it’s a very easy job for Mitsubishi because they seem to have hit the ground running with a car that could see the beginning of the end of the BEV electric car market. That’s because the Outlander PHEV offers the best of both worlds, with its plug-in hybrid setup offering pure EV running for up to 30 miles or so – enough to get in and out of most cities – and the ability to run on carbon fuel even when the batteries run down.

Bahrain Grand Prix Cancelled – revealed on Twitter

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

2011 Bahrain Grand Prix Cancelled Bernie Ecclestone said the cancellation or not of this season’s F1 opener in Bahrain would be down to Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa who was in the best place to judge. But it was actually the Bahrain State’s Information Affairs Authority who made the announcement this afternoon that this year’s Bahrain Grand Prix – due to be staged at the Bahrain International Circuit on March 13th – would not go ahead. The announcement said that “Bahrain’s priority is on overcoming tragedy, healing divisions, and rediscovering the fabric that draws this country together.” Which seems a great deal more important than a bunch of rich guys driving round in circles for the world’s entertainment.
