UP FOR SALE IS THE LOWER UNIT OFF OF A 1971 MERCURY 7.5 HP MOTOR. THE MOTOR HAD LOST SPARK. THE CASING ON THE LOWER IS IN GREAT SHAPE AS IS THE SKEG. THE OIL PLUG HAD BEEN REMOVED AND THE OIL DRAINED. IT TURNS FREELY AND I CAN GET IT TO GO INTO ONE GEAR AND INTO NEUTRAL EASILY. SHAFT MEASURES 18.5" FROM TIP TO THE WATER PUMP AND 20" FROM TIP TO THE CASING.

BOTH GEARS & NEUTRAL ARE ABLE TO BE PUT INTO GEAR WITH PAIR OF PLIERS. SEEMS TO SHIFT FINE NOW BUT THIS REQUEST HAS MADE MILD MARKS TO SHAFT.

As the title suggests, this latest project from the creators of Masters of Modern Car Design charts the remarkably prolific career of Italian car designer Ercole Spada. From the legendary Zagato-era Aston Martin DB4 and Alfa Romeo TZ1 that established his trademark cropped tail, to the 2008 Codatronca supercar that bore his name, via the 1980s BMW 5 and 7 Series, this 304-page hardback covers them all in fine detail.

Based on the electric running gear of the Toyota i-Road we saw at Geneva (but with a full set of wheels) Toyota and Massaud have created an urban vehicle that takes transport back to the basics; a 2CV for the 21st century, perhaps, or a grown up home-made kart seems to be where the ME.WE is at. The construction of the ME.WE comprises a tubular aluminium chassis and a pile of interchangeable polypropylene panels that can change the function of the ME.We from city car to convertible to pickup to 4×4 (thanks to electric motors on both axles) and is, by any definition, transport and not a car you’d have to make a statement. Inside is just as basic with a single dial for the instruments, flat surfaces made from bamboo (designers love a bit of bamboo), batteries for the electric motors under the floor and you have to store any luggage on the roof under a weatherproof cover.

Ford is choosing the New Dehli Auto Expo to unveil its EcoSport concept. The all-new crossover vehicle is comparable to the Fiesta in size and is built atop Ford's new B-Car architecture. Designed in Brazil under the direction of Joa Marcos De Oliveira Ramos, the EcoSport is poised to be a significant part of the company's ‘One Ford' strategy that will see the previously Brazilian only EcoSport rolled out further afield in markets both developing and mature.
