Jaguar F-Type DOES mean next Jaguar XK heading upmarket

Fri, 28 Dec 2012

Ian Callum has said that the new Jaguar F-Type will give Jaguar the opportunity to push the next generation Jaguar XK upmarket. Autocar has been chatting with Jaguar’s design guru, Ian Callum, who has said pretty much what we said in September, namely that the F-Type’s arrival will allow the next XK to be ‘More special than a GT’. The image shows a trio of F-Types, all with S badging in the front grille; no word on which powerplant is beneath each of the curvaceous hoods, but we'll find out next week at the Paris auto show.

Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car (2010) revealed

Thu, 19 Nov 2009

Ford isn’t planning an ST or RS Fiesta, but this is the next best thing – the Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car. Built by M-Sport - the same team behind the WRC Focus - it’s Ford first global rally car. The Fiesta is eligible to enter national rally championships, as well as the IRC and S2000 World Cup in 2010, and will also form the basis of Ford’s WRC effort in 2011. It will debut as a course car at next week’s Rally of Scotland, the final round of this year’s IRC.
