Nissan Design 50th Anniversary exhibition

As part of last year's celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Nissan Design, Nissan Motor Company held an exhibition entitled 'Passion & Imagination: Nissan Design 50th Anniversary & Future' at its two galleries in Ginza, downtown Tokyo from late July to mid-August. Both galleries were crowded with more than 48,000 visitors in total. The exhibition showcased the historical achievements of Nissan's design department over the last fifty years, as well as its future design vision.

The Touareg has been a solid global success for Volkswagen with over 720,000 units sold, despite all the ink expended discussing its pricing (especially compared to the rest of the automaker's range), and the company has spent quite a bit of time and money updating the Touareg for the 2015 model year. Peugeot 308 is European Car of the Year The Geneva Motor Show also means the announcement of the European Car of the Year for 2014, and the gong for this year has gone to the new Peugeot 308. It took a jury of 58 journalists from 22 European countries to decide the new 308 offers such an appealing package it is a more impressive car than any of the seven finalists left in its wake. It’s a very mainstream choice from the jury, some would say a surprise too, and will no doubt please Peugeot to have their fourth COTY title after the 307 (2002), 405 (1988) and 504 (1969) were previous winners.
