1973-1979 Ford Pickup Truck NOS OEM Free Wheelin' Chromatic Stripe Decals!
This auction is for a PARTIAL set of Longbed Ford Truck chromatic stripes that were sold by Ford in 1978 &1979 .. these are the RARE reflective decals that were featured in 1979 original Ford Brochures for Trucks & Bronco and the Ford Freewheeling and Accessories Brochures. Very cool looking and very '70's era :-)
Photos in this auction of the truck are from brochures and are for reference/illustration purposes only so that you get a good reference of what these decals are. Please Do Not bid unless you intend to pay and understand what you are buying first.
Some bends are creases are present. While these are NOS decals, there is sign of age and slight 'peel' in a few spots, but nothing bad or major. Comes with original "Application Instructions". Decals are double-sided "3M" brand sold then by Ford.
Unfortunately this isn't a whole set, only the Rear Driver's Side Bedside decal with two individual gas door decals, and the Passenger side hood decal are included. NO OTHER DECALS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION but those just mentioned. The decals are NOS ("New Old Stock") however they are 30+ years old and have been rolled up in the original Ford shipping box for all those years so I can't guarantee or know for sure how these decals would hold up if used today. I would strongly suggest using these decals as "templates" to have new ones created for your truck (or maybe even Bronco !) ... A local decal manufacturer might be able to somehow reproduce these NOS decals.

Wed, 25 Aug 2010Vince Cable gets behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DBS With the Liberal / Conservative coalition now in charge we seem to have got a Government where a big chunk of the ministers are Liberals (is there a Liberal MP without a portfolio of some description?). Which I suppose is the price we pay for allowing the Conservatives to become Labour Lite instead of having real conviction politicians. Still, it throws up some interesting conflicts.
