For sale: 1974-1979 Westfalia Fiberglass Top & Luggage Rack Assy. No cracks, very good condition. Comes with the poles that raise the top up. Also included is the trim work for the bottom of the fiberglass, the pieces that you mount your tent canvas too, not shown in photos. Will clean up nicely with a little scrubbing. Complete set up. Must pick up in Aiken, SC.

Gibbs launches new high-speed amphibian vehicles

Michigan-based Gibbs Technologies has released two new high-speed, commercial-grade amphibian vehicles, named the Phibian and the Humdinga. The Phibian is a 30-foot-long, nearly 12-foot-tall craft capable of highway speeds on land and more than 30 mph (26 knots) in the water. Constructed mainly of carbon fiber, the Phibian can hold up to 15 people, including a crew of three.

Update: Aptera denies that these videos are in response to the closing of the brand, as previously reported, and states that they were filmed in May destroying prototypes that were bound for the crusher anyway. Automotive startup Aptera Motors closed its doors on Dec. 2 after it ran out of money.
