Up for sale is a 1974 Camaro Z-28 Quadra-Jet carburetor. This is GM part# 7044209 and is dated 127th day of 1974. Correct for all 4 speed equipped cars. The carburetor is in nice shape as it retains all of the original components. All parts move as they should and the fuel inlet thread is a-ok. This will need rebuilt/restored as it has sat for sometime now. So if you are looking for a great carburetor for your special project this is a must for you!!! Wed, 21 Oct 2009The Nissan Leaf revealed at Tokyo Not surprisingly, Carlos Ghosn – Nissan’s boss – has revealed that Nissan are working on a range of electric cars to be released in the next few years. Considering Nissan partners with Renault, and Renault announced something similar at Frankfurt, it’s not a huge shock toi the system that yet another car maker is going to churn out a range of EVs. First up is the Leaf, with Nissan aiming to launch an electric version of their NV200 van later in 2010.
Hyundai: E4U Egg Car & Fluidic Sculpture in Motion
Sun, 14 Apr 2013Hyundai has already made it clear that 2013 will be about ‘Brand Awareness’ rather than releasing a new raft of models and chasing ever increasing sales, so two Hyundai outings in the last week can be put down to their targeted aim of profile raising. In Milan, Hyundai are taking part in the Milan Design Week by showing an innovative light sculpture that has been inspired by Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic Design’ (even though Hyundai have already said that ‘Fluidic Design’ is being replaced by ‘Fluidic Precision’ as they aim to make their designs ‘cleaner) with an installation made up of 12,000 translucent spheres acting collectively on a screen, surrounded by high-power lasers and suspended over a pool of water. The ‘performance’ starts with virtual rain created by the lasers which form three-dimensional shapes, followed by an interactive segment where human interaction creates three-dimensional images by scanning for body warmth so visitors can manipulate what they see by using gestures.
Aston Martin wants the Le Mans title
Tue, 27 Jan 2009Aston Martin will challenge for the overall Le Mans Champion in 2009 Aston Martin won the overall title in 1959 – 50 years ago with the DBR1 driven by Caroll Shelby – and are aiming to bring the title back to the UK with the new car, which is based on the 2008 Charouz Racing System Lola, and powered by the same V12 engine seen in the title winning DBR9s of the last two years. The car will carry the famous Gulf Oil colours, and is being funded in partnership with Lola, Michelin, Koni and BBS. And this is a good time to pick to challenge for the title.
