REINFORCED MAINS LIKE A 428CJ OR 427 BLOCK
ALL CLEAR COATED ON THE EXTERIOR SURFACES TO PREVENT NEW RUST FORMATION

NOTE:  THIS A 1975 MODEL YEAR FORD BLOCK THAT ARE 501 SERIES BLOCKS.  THE "MIRROR 105" NAME COMES FROM THE FACT THAT THE 501 SERIES NUMBER WAS CAST BACKWARD SO IT LOOKS LIKE A 105.  ALL THE PARTS FROM 1960-1979 352, 360, 390, 427, 428 AND 428CJ/SCJ ENGINES ARE ABLE TO BE USED WITH THE 501 SERIES BLOCKS.  THEREFORE ALL 352 AND 501 SERIES HEADS, INTAKE MANIFOLD, WATER PUMP, VALVE COVERS, OIL PAN, CARBURETORS AND ALL OTHER PARTS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE.  THE MAIN DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE 501 SERIES MAIN WEBS ARE HEAVY DUTY LIKE 428CJ / SCJ AND 427 BLOCKS SO THEY CAN BE USED FOR A HIGH PERFORMANCE BUILD.

Dan Darancou appointed Chief Designer at CH-Auto

Former GM design manager Dan Darancou has become Chief Designer at CH-Auto, a major Chinese car design studio that supports numerous domestic car manufacturers as well as international car companies looking to sell vehicles in the burgeoning automotive market. Darancou, who started his new role on November 1, will be overseeing all design activities as well as facilitating the liaison between the styling and engineering departments so the company can deliver complete ready-for-production vehicles and services. As well as tackling these initiatives, Darancou will also be promoting the organization, furthering the company's goal to become the premier car design studio in China.

Coventry University MA Design Degree Show 2004

MA students from England's Coventry University Automotive Design course presented their annual degree exhibition last September in a brand-new facility. The Show, entitled 'Move', displayed the 21 students work in the new Coventry Transport Museum, situated in the recently redeveloped heart of the city. An industry seminar was also hosted on the opening evening with a keynote speech by Kevin Rice, Design Manager, BMW 1-Series, and with event sponsorship by Corus.
