You are bidding on two center caps for a 1977 - 79 Ford Thunderbird with the optional Polycast wheels.  The clips on the backside of both caps are NOT broken or cracked, the plastic centers are not cracked and have good color, the hubcap on the left has extremely nice chrome around the center,  the chrome ring around the center of the hubcap on the right has some peeling chrome nearly half way around the crown.  The hubcap on the left is in extremely nice condition!  Hard to find!  I have tried to be as picky as possible in the description of my items.  Payment expected through Pay Pal within 7 days of auction ending.  Please ask any questions you might have BEFORE bidding.  International buyers are welcome, but pay actual shipping costs; so please wait for invoice before paying.

Ferrari F450: Last one to be auctioned Sunday to benefit earthquake victims

Wed, 13 May 2009

In an auction featuring some of the rarest, fastest and most head-turning Ferraris ever, a brand-new F430 may be the show-stealer. The Prancing Horse said Wednesday that it is auctioning off the very last F430 to roll off the Maranello production lines at the end of the year to raise money to rebuild the central Italian region of Abruzzo, which was devastated by an earthquake on April 6. Ferrari will work with local authorities to distribute the funds.

Barreling around the racetrack, there's little lean entering the corners, plenty of thrust on exit and a monster amount of grip everywhere, and if it feels taxed at all, it's ever so briefly as the nose aims left and up from turn five for the steep climb out of the esses. Road Atlanta is plain ol' fast, and the BMW X6 M does well to keep pace, spilling gobs of power all over the track, blazing down the long back straight to nearly 140 mph, maneuvering like no two-and-half-ton pile of metal should. It's exhilarating stuff, to be sure, only we're left asking very many questions, and all of them are: Why?
