This auction is for

Your bidding on a (right) Passenger spindle with rotor, these came off a 1986 Monte Carlo and is in good condition, minor surface rust. The rotor has a lot of life left to it, brake backing dust plate is damaged but usable? (See pictures) I can remove the rotor to lower shipping since it's obviously a lot heavier with it ? Buyer needs to let me know at end of auction? This came off a 1986 Monte Carlo but can be used on all Monte Carlo's from 1978 to 1988. Also will work on all other G-Body cars from 1978-1988 as well such as Monte Carlo, El Camino, Malibu, Cutlass, Grand Prix, Grand National Regal etc. (be sure to do your research and check your application before bidding)

GM scraps plan for unibody pickup

General Motors Co. has dropped plans to develop a unibody pickup similar to the Honda Ridgeline, the automaker's top product development executive said. As gasoline prices rose and pickup sales fell, GM sought an alternative to the standard body-on-frame pickup.

One of just 39 models made and regarded as one of the greatest Ferraris, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta went under the hammer at Bonhams' auction in Carmel, California. A huge crowd watching the bidding broke into applause at the confirmation of the final price, which outdid the previous record for a car sold at auction.

Flying car gets regulatory clearance

The Jetsons' futuristic vision of a flying car is one step closer to becoming a reality. Terrafugia, a Massachusetts company developing a "roadable aircraft" named the Transition, just received special exemptions from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that will help it move the vehicle move forward to production. NHTSA will allow the Transition to be outfitted with plastic windows rather than standard automotive safety glass.
