  • Mixture idle Screws Pre-Set (Can't have your car running to rich, gas prices are aweful, but can't have it running to lean, if not you'll car will stubble. We Pre-set it for you at the perfect performace/gas :)

Limited Warranty

All of our carburetors have a limited warranty and are guarantee for 1 Year (365days). Call us with any problems you are having Toll Free tech support. If we cant help you over the phone we will arrange to have the carburetor picked up. We will test the carburetor on our engine to see what went wrong. Once we have fixed the problem we'll give you a call and let you know your carburetor is ready to be shipped out.

  • Payment - All payments must be received within 7 days of auction closing.

  • Dispatch time - We normally dispatch your order within 1-2 business days via UPS. Once your order has been shipped we will emaill you a tracking number.

  • Returns - Exchanges must be made within 7 days of the shipping date indicated on your sales receipt. All return products must be in uninstalled and unused condition. After 7 days your order will be assumed satisfactory and claims of shipment errors or requests for exchanges will not be accepted. All exchanges will include a return shipping fee.

  • Core deposit - All carburetors are in exchange. Core must be like for like and in rebuild-able condition. All return cores must not be broken, striped from fuel line and frozen to receive core deposit. Cores must be returned within 5 days of receipt. Please allow 3-5 business days for core deposit. Core deposit will be return to PayPal account. Return label will be provided in package.

1. Question - I want to send in my carburetor for a rebuild, How do i do this?

Answer - You want to send your carburetor to: Carburetor Exchange 3207 Peck Rd El Monte, Ca 91731 ATTN:John69. You want to include your: Name, Address, and Phone number on a piece of paper. 2. Question - What are your office hours?

Answer - Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm PST

Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm PST

Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm PST

3. Question - When you say "Engine Test" what does that mean?

Answer - We have live engines on stands that we use for testing purposes only. We test for vacuum leaks, flooding, bleed clogs, etc. we also adjust the carburetors, we adjust the Mixture idle screws, that way it is not burning to rich where the fuel smell is bad and its not running to lean, where you get a rough hesitation. On top of that we adjust the idle so it is not too high or too low and we even set the fast idle for cold start, that way if you are in a quick hurry in the morning the car will be easier to start at cold operation.

4. Question - There is an extra vacuum port(s) on the carburetor you sent me what do I do?

Answer - It is as easy as a vacuum cap or plug! Don’t got any? Give us a call and we’ll send you some. Just call 626-374-1019ask for John.

5. Question - So what does it mean to remanufacture a carburetor?

Answer - When we remanufacture a carburetor there is more than just washing metals and installing parts, its adding bushings in the throttle shaft to avoid vacuum leaks, making necessary adjustments to leave the carburetor running perfect. checking carburetors on a 4-gas analyzer for proper Gas readings.

6. Question - I don't have a credit card, what can I do?

The famous ‘Le Mans start’ Since the race’s inaugural meeting in 1923, tradition dictated a standing start. This later became known as a ‘Le Mans start’, and involved drivers lining their cars up along the pit wall in the order they qualified in. Racers would then have to stand on the opposite side of the track, and when the French Tricolor flag dropped the drivers would have to sprint to their cars, strap themselves in and begin racing.
